Assistant Principal News

I hope this message finds you well. As we experience the unpredictable weather of late, with large fluctuations in temperature, we've noticed an increase in sickness among students, and we encourage parents to keep their children at home if they are feeling unwell. It's important to prioritize rest and recovery. As we reach the halfway point of Term 1, we acknowledge that many children are feeling a bit tired. We understand this is a natural part of the school year, and we encourage students to get plenty of sleep, rest when needed, and take care of their health to ensure they stay well for the remainder of the term.

Thank you for your ongoing support, and we look forward to a productive and healthy rest of Term 1.

Snapshots from our classrooms

Recently, Miss Molloy has been running engaging Phys Ed lessons for our students, and she invited a tennis coach to work with the students. The sessions were highly engaging, and the students had a fantastic time learning about the different skills required to become a good tennis player. It was wonderful to see the students so focused and enthusiastic as they learned new techniques and improved their physical abilities.

Last week I had the privilege of attending the Cave Hill Creek Camp with our Year 5/6 students. The camp provided a range of exciting activities such as archery, canoeing, biking, and climbing the giant’s ladder. These activities were not only fun but also helped challenge our students' resilience and physicality. It was inspiring to watch the students push themselves and support one another through these challenges. A special thank you goes out to all the staff members who supported and made this camp a resounding success.

Until next fortnight,
