EDSC PFA AGM 2025 & First Meeting of the New Committee
The Parents & Friends Association will hold their AGM for 2025 on Monday 24 March 2025 at 7pm in The John Landy Centre. All positions for the Executive Committee will be declared vacant.
We invite all new and returning families to join us at the upcoming AGM and first meeting of the new committee. If anyone from the school community is interested in nominating themselves for any of the executive or general member positions please send in your nominations via email to Aban at aban2309@yahoo.com. The Executive Committee comprises of the President, Vice President, General Secretary, Treasurer, School Council Representative, Events Co-ordinator and Newsletter Co-ordinator. In addition to that you may join as a General Member.
You will have the opportunity to meet our current group of parents and we will be happy to share how this dynamic group supports the college.
The Parents and Friends Committee is an informal, friendly group of interested parents who assist at various school functions throughout the year such as information nights, music nights, school production, parent/teacher interview days etc. We also fundraise with a focus on raising extra funds to use on worthwhile projects that will benefit the College community.
Come join us, be involved and stay informed about the exciting events that take place in our children’s school.

EDSC Open Night - 13 March
The Parents & Friends Association members will be present at their booth at the EDSC Open Night on Thursday 13 March 2025. Please come by to say hello.
Bunnings Sausage Sizzle - 16 March 2025
The PFA is organising the first fundraiser sausage sizzle for 2025 at Bunnings Doncaster on 16 March 2025. As always, this is a great fundraising opportunity. We would like to ask for volunteers from the wider school community for their help at this event. Please forward your expression of interest via email to Aban at aban2309@yahoo.com.
Baked Goods & Hot Cross Bun Sale At Parent Teacher Interviews - 3 April 2025
The Parents & Friends Association will be organising a baked goods & hot cross bun stall in The John Landy Centre at the upcoming Term 1 Parent Teacher Interviews on 3 April 2025.
Treat yourself to some delicious sweet and savoury items while you get to know about your child’s progress in school.
We will be happy to welcome any volunteers from the wider community who can assist us at this event for an hour or more. Please forward your interest via email to Aban at aban2309@yahoo.com.
EDSC PFA Meet & Greet Social Night 2025
For the third year running EDSC’s Parents & Friends Association organised a Meet & Greet Social Night for all members of the school community on Monday 24 February 2025.
A brilliant response was received from the community and we thank everyone who took the time to attend this evening full of fun, frolic and laughter, not to forget the sumptuous goodies (all homemade by our very own committee members).
We hope that everyone appreciated the exciting door prizes awarded and the fun trivia quiz, which ended with 3 tables winning canteen vouchers for their children. It was absolutely fabulous to see everyone and get to know the wider EDSC community. We hope that this evening provided you with some information regarding the Parents & Friends Association, its members and the efforts put in by our members to add value to our children’s school.
We look forward to seeing you again at many of our future events, especially our AGM and first meeting on Monday 24 March 2025 at 7.00pm in The John Landy Centre.
