The EDSC Reading Challenge is now open! We’re counting the books ALL students and staff read from January 1 until September 1 2025.

It is very simple to take part. Students can read ANY books they like (excluding picture books for very young children). Students can read graphic novels, manga, English class novels, books in another language, poetry, non-fiction, eBooks, audiobooks, and more!

There are plenty of prizes on offer throughout the year, including books and bookmarks. Any student who reads and verifies 15 books will be invited to our end of year pizza party and will receive a certificate and EDSC house points.

Taking part is simple. Just start adding any books that you’ve read to the simple Google Form on our Reading Challenge webpage.
