Green Team Update - A busy week of Growth & Achievement!

The Green Team has had another productive and exciting week! We've been busy planting even more veggies and bedding around the school, adding a splash of color and life to our outdoor spaces. With the heat pushing us to stay on top of watering, we’ve been working hard to ensure our new plants thrive in the warmer weather.

The Junior Environment Leaders had a great time working in the garden and planting some new plants. They learnt about what is needed for seedlings to grow and carefully planted them.

A huge milestone this week was finishing off the painting of our veggie beds. They look absolutely fantastic and really brighten up our school grounds. A big thank you to all of our Environment Leaders – your dedication and hard work are truly paying off, and the results speak for themselves!

It is a big focus for us to use the outdoor bins carefully and to put the correct rubbish into the bins. If we all make sure to put the rubbish into the correct bins during play time it will make a huge difference to keep our school tidy and sustainable.

In other news, Joey, our beloved school mascot, had an awesome time at Athletics Day! He joined in the fun and participated in the races, showing that school spirit is just as strong in the mascot world as it is in the classroom.

Well done to everyone involved in both the Green Team’s efforts and Joey's fantastic athletic performance! Keep up the great work!

Stay tuned for more updates and ways to get involved. 🌱🐾
