Year 10 Revive Day Term 1 2025

REVIVE DAY WRAP UP Term 1 2025

What a massive success the first Revive Day of 2025 was!

The day started with a brief assembly before moving on to the Revive Day focus. This terms focus was on “Help Seeking.” The Year level had an impressive and important speaker who spoke about his journey in help seeking - watch this video for extra insight.

Natalie said “He was wise and inspirational with his words. He made me feel like I was understood and not alone”.

Lily said she was moved by the presentation and "felt as though he understood (her) without even knowing or having had a conversation before".

The students then had the opportunity to talk with external services from the Police, ASRC, Doncare, Manningham Youth Services, YSAS, Headspace, ECASE and Whitehorse Youth. The students were exposed to a huge amount of knowledge and resources to take home.

Our final session was run by a legendary group of students and was completely student-led. A massive thank you and well-done to Will, Tiana, Lucas, Helia, Ebony, Diego, TJ, Amelia and Abbey. They aspired to ensure their cohort were engaged and connected by offering a range of activities for them.

These students did a terrific job. You should be so proud of your efforts.

Revive Day was a refreshing break from our usual routine, filled with fun activities run by the Year 10 students. We played basketball and soccer, bringing out our competitive spirit, while the tabloid games kept everyone engaged with exciting challenges. For those who preferred something more creative, arts and crafts provided a relaxing space to unwind and express ourselves. It was a great opportunity to step away from schoolwork, enjoy time with friends, and appreciate the effort put in by the older students to make the day enjoyable for everyone.
