PRAYER

Lord Jesus

you were born in the Virgin Mary,

the daughter of Saints Joachim and Anne.

Look with love today on Grandparents the world over.

Protect them! They are a source of enrichment for families,

for the Church, and for all of society.

Support them! As they grow older,

may they continue to be for their families,

strong pillars of Gospel faith,

guardians of noble domestic ideals,

and living treasuries of sound religious traditions.

Make them teachers of wisdom and courage,

that they may pass on to future generations

the fruits of their mature human and spiritual experience.

Amen

From the Principal

Dear Parents,

Welcome to Term Three. It has been a good week and postive start to the term. We look forward to many exciting things that we have planned for the term.

Welcome to our International Students

Grandparent’s and Special Friend’s Day

We will celebrate Grandparent’s and Special Friend’s Day at St Philip’s next week, Friday morning, in recognition of the Feasts of Saints Joachim and Anne. This is a special time in our school year and one that allows time to for everyone in the community to gather and share time with our special friends. Everyone is welcome to our morning assembly at 9.00am prior to visiting the classrooms and engaging in learning activities with the children. Morning tea will be served at 10.30am in the Hall.

Tuesday 30 July is the 100th day of school for 2024. The school will celebrate this day based on the theme ‘100 Days Brighter’. Students from all classes are invited to dress up for the day in either something bright and colourful or something that represents 100.

Celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation
