Some words from the Principal
Mrs Danielle Heatley
I hope that everyone had a wonderful break and enjoyed time with family and friends. For those who travelled, I look forward to hearing some of your stories and travel adventures. For those who enjoyed some time at home, I hope you all kept warm and enjoyed great company. Thankyou to Mrs Courtney Hoffmann and the amazing leadership team who held down the fort while I was having some LSL in sunny Port Douglas with my family last week.
Over the holiday break, we were still busy here at school updating buildings and grounds. You may have noticed the new boom gates into the staff carpark. These are a vital addition for student safety and are working well. We also had the height safety updated on our roofs to ensure that anyone who accesses the roof (staff retrieving balls, contractors, roof plumbers etc) are safe.
We unfortunately need to postpone the working bee for this Sunday. We will let everyone know the new date as soon as it is confirmed.
We are looking forward to an exciting term ahead full of activities for all year levels. We publicise dates as soon as we know them, so please pop them in the your diary!
More information will come as events get closer!
Book Week - Everyone is encouraged to come dressed as their favourite book character! This year the theme is 'Reading is Magic' and we welcome our community to the Book Week parade on Friday 23rd August at 9am.

We have just received the results for the NAPLAN testing that was conducted in March.
These results are a true credit to our teaching staff throughout the whole school who continue to challenge and engage our students in high quality teaching and learning. We are very proud to be performing equal or above network level in a number of areas. To achieve this for all areas for Year 3 is outstanding achievement.
