Thank you to Nelson Alexander for supporting FPS!

THANK YOU CITY OF YARRA!

City of Yarra have again granted us $1000 for our fete this year which will go to inviting a professional band to play for us as well as some kids activities! Thank you City of Yarra!

TRANSLATING FANTASTIC FETE!

Thanks to those who have told us how to say Fantastic or Fantastic Fete in your family’s languages. So far we have :

  • Somali: Shax shax  and Dabaltag & Damashad Wacan
  • (Egyptian) Arabic: حفلة حلوة or Hafla Helwa
  • French: La Fête Fantastique
  • Spanish: Fiesta Fantastica
  • Tighrina: ዝተዘጋጀወ ርሁስ አመት ትምህርቲ : Zetezegaje/we Rehus Amet Temhereti

We would love to know how to say this in more languages! So if you or your child can help us by writing how you would say something similar to “fantastic” or “fantastic fête” in any of your family’s languages on the paper at Mary’s desk or by email to Ev (contact details below), that would be so wonderful! Even more wonderful if the translation has alliteration (same letter or sound at the beginning of each word!)

CALL OUT FOR RAFFLE/SILENT AUCTION ITEMS!
