Welcome to Term 3

Welcome back to Term 3, looking ahead at the calendar we have another action-packed term with a number of camps, excursions, guest speakers and learning taking place. It is also the final term of K-12 schooling for our Year 12 students who are working away on final assessments and exam preparation. 

New College Polar Fleece Jumpers 

Lowes is now stocking the new College polar fleece jumper for these cold winter days. Students should not be wearing hoodies under or over their uniforms, instead, they should wear the College-approved jumper if they need extra warmth.

Staff Professional Development Week

We had an excellent staff professional development time last week. Staff participated in a range of professional development opportunities from Transformation by Design workshops, Assessments, Youth Mental Health First Aid and First Aid training. It also gave our staff teams valuable time to plan the curriculum together. 

Allergy reminder

One of the key staff activities during staff professional development week, was to do a refresher on our anaphylaxis training. So, I am also taking this opportunity to remind the community that we need to be allergy aware. We have a number of students who have severe anaphylactic reactions to a range of allergens including nuts and some fruits so to help all of our students, please make sure that your children wash their hands before coming to school to help minimise the risk of an allergic or anaphylactic reaction in our community.
