GIRLS REGIONAL TEE-BALL
Last Friday, we had 10 of our Grade 5 & 6 girls compete in the Regional Tee-Ball Championships. Regional Competition is the 3rd stage of competition & saw the girls competing against schools from Melton, Bacchus Marsh, Wyndham and the Western Suburbs of Melbourne.
Results went as follows:
23-10 Win Vs St. Margarets (Bellarine)
26-8 Win Vs Heathdale Christian College (Wyndham)
21-9 Win Vs Newport Gardens (Hobsons Bay)
These victories meant the Mano girls proceeded to the Regional Grand Final.
The Grand Final was a tense and highly skilled game, with outstanding fielding from both teams. Mano held on after 7 innings to win 7-4 against St. Christopher's Primary School from Moonee Ponds (Northern Pool Winners).
The team now progresses to the State Finals which will be held later in the term.
Well done to Ava, Maisie G, India, Harper, Charlotte, Nelly, Viv, Pip, Georgia & Amelia.
Special shout out to Rachel & Kathryn for being helpers all day - scoring & on field coaching, as well as Dean for helping out with our batting over the last two games.
Team effort!
