Prime Ministers Spelling Bee

Registrations for the Prime Minister’s 2024 Spelling Bee are now open. The PM’s Spelling Bee is a free online competition for Australian school students in Years 3 to 8 across all states and territories.The aim of the PM’s Spelling Bee is to improve the literacy skills of school children through expanding their vocabulary and encouraging reading. Registrations and the School Round of the Competition will run concurrently and will close at 5:00pm on Friday 23 August. 

There are also great prizes to be won, including the following for the National winners 

(3 in total, one in each category):

• A return flight to Canberra to meet the Prime Minister for each category winner (and theirparent/guardian)● 
• One night’s accommodation in Canberra for each category winner (and their parent/guardian)●
• 1 x iPad
• 1 x $250 HarperCollins book pack
• 1 x national winner certificate
