Outdoor Education

Year 9 and 10 Outdoor Education students exploring and learning on the traditional lands of the Wadawurrung, Gadubanud and Taungauroung peoples at Anglsea, Cape Otway and Mt Stirling. Everyone displayed incredible resilience, teamwork and problem-solving skills throughout their hiking and surfing camps. In the classroom they learnt about the importance of healthy environments and ecosystems, risk management, native flora and fauna, technology in the outdoors and pushing your comfort zone.

A special heartfelt thanks to the Parents Association Grant which enabled us to purchase new rain jackets and gaiters which came into their own keeping the Year 9 students warm and dry in some less-than-ideal weather. The support of the school community over many years is very much appreciated – thank you!

Well done to all involved, especially the incredible staff who assisted with keeping our students safe and happy!
