This week at OSHClub we explored the exciting themes of Pancakes of the World and Holi Fest, celebrating different cultures through food, creativity, and colourful activities!
Our Breakfast Club took children on a global pancake adventure with USA pancakes, Swedish pancakes, and Sri Lankan pancakes on the menu. Alongside these tasty treats, children also enjoyed smoothies, cheese toasties, DIY fruit juice, and yoghurt bowls to start their mornings. For Snack Squad, the menu included a variety of favourites such as crackers and dip, fruit bread, tacos, rice paper rolls, and DIY mini pizzas. It was wonderful to see children enjoying the different flavours and helping assemble some of their own snacks.
We had a vibrant celebration of Holi Fest, with activities bursting with colour. Children explored the meaning of the festival through colourful art experiences and each child took home their very own pack of paint sticks to continue the creativity at home.
Our creative activities were full of imagination. Children made beaded bracelets, created pasta jewellery, designed animal faces using paper plates, and helped build and display our new World Flags display. One of the biggest hits of the week was making our own scratch art, which everyone loved revealing with bright colours underneath. There was also plenty of experimenting and hands-on fun. Children enjoyed bicarb and vinegar science experiments, baked delicious cookies, and participated in our exciting OSHClub colouring competition.
To keep everyone active, we enjoyed lots of physical activities including basketball, dodgeball, yoga, parachute games, and group games, giving children plenty of opportunities to move, play, and work together. It was a colourful, creative, and fun-filled week at OSHClub!
Twilight Sports
It was wonderful to see everyone participating in Twilight Sports, hopefully you were able to grab one of our OSHClub Icy Poles!!

Pupil Free Day - 10th March
There is a Pupil Free Day on Tuesday 10 March 2026.
MOUNT PLEASANT ROAD VIC OSHCLUB will be open from 7.00am to 6.00pm for any families who want to book in.
To book, log in to your Parent Portal and select the Pupil Free Day Room. Alternatively you can click on the link below:
Please Bring:
- Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea
- Appropriate footwear and clothing (including a hat) for your child
Important to Note:
- The session fee is $72.94 (before any applicable Child Care Subsidy).
- Bookings can not be made online within 48 hours of the session commencing.
- All regular Before and After School Care bookings have been removed for this date.
- To avoid out-of-pocket costs, cancellation of a Pupil Free Day booking must be made at least 7 days before the session start time.
- A $4.17 late booking fee applies for bookings made within 5 days of the session commencing.

Enrolling Your Child
For new enrolments, please go to https://www.oshclub.com.au/register/
A helpful video for navigating the iParent Portal and completing the enrolment process can be found on this page.
Please note: CRN numbers and all birth dates must be entered correctly if you wish to claim the Child Care Subsidy. CCS applications are submitted automatically to Centrelink when new enrolments are actioned.
Bookings
Online bookings for Rise then Shine and Stay and Play sessions close 24 hours in advance. Online bookings for the Holiday Program and Curriculum Days close 5 days in advance.
If online bookings have closed, and you would like to make or cancel a booking, please SMS the program phone on 0427 144 945.
Cancellation of Bookings
IMPORTANT: If your child is booked in for an afternoon Stay and Play session and that booking is no longer required, please cancel the booking on the iParent Portal. If you are cancelling on the day, please contact us on the program phone before 3:15pm.
We are responsible for all children booked into our care. If a child does not arrive after school care when booked in to attend, we will need to confirm the whereabouts of the child by contacting parents/guardians and emergency contacts. If we cannot successfully do this, it then becomes a missing child incident.
As you can imagine, this can be very stressful!
