Celebrations of Learning and Community

Year 7 Camp
Our three days at Camp Mangung were an incredible opportunity for students and staff to step outside the classroom and build something deeper together. Throughout the camp, we saw students challenge themselves, support one another, and show real resilience as they took on new experiences.
From shared adventures to quiet moments of connection, the camp created memories that will stay with us for a long time. Most importantly, it strengthened the sense of community that makes our Year 7 cohort so special.
We return with stronger relationships, greater confidence, and a shared sense of achievement.
Year 7-11 Art Wrap Up
Year 11 Art has been a place to create, formulate, and discover new media and how to use them, on paper and any other surface you can imagine. We have taken off our training wheels, pushing ourselves beyond the page to discover what we are capable of, whether we choose to express this on paper, canvas, through sculpture or mixed media. Using paint, gouache, watercolour and experimenting with spray paint for the first time, I believe the page is no longer our limit.
By constructing and allowing our ideas to take shape while building our knowledge of styles and experimenting with techniques like layering colours, blending, and creating textures, we aim to develop meaning and intention through our final artwork of this unit. Alongside this, it has become a space where our imagination and creativity can run free, making the process just as enjoyable as the final outcome.

Meet the Year 9 Team!
The Year 9 leaders, along with the broader Experiential Learning Staff, are a genuinely supportive and caring group, deeply committed to nurturing every student’s wellbeing. The leaders support the implementation of our Year 9 program, incorporating City Experience, Community Engagement and Personal Best. They create an environment where young people feel safe, valued, and understood, and they’re always ready to listen, whether a student needs guidance, reassurance, or simply someone to talk to.
Student Representative Council Launch
We are excited to announce that we have recently launched our Student Representative Council (SRC) for 2026. The SRC comprises of our College Captains, College Vice Captains, House Leaders, Arts Captains and 4 SRC members from each year level from Years 7-10.
The SRC is led by our College Captains and Vice-Captains, with the assistance and guidance of College staff. The purpose of the SRC is to provide a structure for students to have their voices heard, collaboratively plan initiatives to address concerns or improvements at the College and to provide further opportunities for our students to develop their leadership skills.
In early term two, students will be selecting sub-committees to be a part of to start working on initiatives to make our College an even better place for all students.
