FROM THE TEAM

We’ve had another fantastic week in Year 4!

In Reading, students explored the text Earth’s Seven Continents and practised identifying the main idea in non-fiction texts. This linked beautifully to our Inquiry learning, where we continued researching Australia’s neighbouring countries.

In Writing, students innovated on our model text Coral Ocean, creating their own characters who work together to help one another.

In Maths, we focused on understanding duration, solving a range of problems involving the passage of time.

Students are already very excited about our upcoming Term 2 camp. Please keep an eye on Compass over the next couple of weeks for further details and information about the deposit payment.
