Performing Arts

This week the Performing Arts Showcase was held in the Performing Arts Centre, with the cast and crew performing to a live audience of staff, students, families and friends. 

This student lead evening showcased the talents of the Year 9 & 10 Performing Arts classes and the Dance Club. Acts explored interpretations of a variety of scripts and self-devised pieces including comedy, drama, musicals, magic and suspense. Well done to all involved! 

A special mention to Brendan Gan (Year 9 Performing Arts teacher), Rebecca James and Megan Thompson (Dance Club teachers) for their passion and support of the students.

Performing Arts Captains Update

The Performing Arts faculty would like to extend our sincere appreciation to outgoing Year 12 Performing Arts Captain Amelia. Amelia has been involved in acting, dancing, productions and leadership roles since she first started at EDSC in 2019. Her passion and dedication has inspired many up and coming performers. Thank you Amelia!
