Partnerships and Pathways

Huge congratulations to our six incredible Year 11s who spent a week of their October school holidays getting a head start on their teaching careers! They participated in the Australian Catholic University (ACU) Step Up Into Teaching (SUIT) program, which gives high school students a taste of university life and a real opportunity to explore their passion for teaching. They completed their first university-level unit, Understanding Learning and Teaching, at ACU’s Strathfield campus and in January, they’ll be tackling their second unit, Understanding Learners and their Contexts. We’re so proud of their dedication and commitment to their future careers as educators. Best of luck to them as they continue their studies!

On Thursday, five of our Year 10 students had the incredible opportunity to take part in a unique social justice initiative in support of Zambrero’s Plate 4 Plate Day! Alongside students from St Columba's College and hundreds of other volunteers across the nation, they helped pack over 430,000 meals that will be distributed to those in need overseas. In Sydney alone, our students contributed to packing 90,000 meals in two hours! This initiative aligns perfectly with our College values of service, justice, dignity and compassion, and we're so proud of our students for stepping up and making a difference. Caroline Chisholm College is especially proud to partner with Zambrero, alongside their Chief People and Franchising Officer, Bianca Azzopardi, our very own former College Captain from the Class of 2010.

This term marks a pivotal moment for our Year 12 students as they complete the final stage of their HSC journey, and we couldn’t be prouder of them! We're thrilled to announce that many of our graduating class have already secured early offers to over 50 university courses from 12 universities, spanning diverse fields from agriculture to international relations and so much more. Early offers will continue through November as UAC’s Schools Recommendation Scheme (SRS) provides further opportunities. Congratulations to these hardworking students - their dedication and effort throughout Years 11 and 12 have truly paid off.
