A Message from the Principal

Dear Parents and Carers,

Spirit On Country State Education Conference

Miss Allan and I are fortunate to be attending the Spirit on Country State Education Conference in Tamworth this week. The theme of the conference is Learning Together, Then, Now and Always. 

On Tuesday we will travel to the Myall Creek memorial site. This site was erected in 2000 by a group of Aboriginal and Non Aboriginal Australians in an act of Reconciliation and in acknowledgement of the truth of our shared history. It highlights the aboriginal people who lost their lives and those who pursued justice. 

On Wednesday and Thursday we will be learning from a range of guest speakers and practical workshops. Students from our diocesan schools will be showcasing music, art and dance. I look forward to seeing our Primary Aboriginal students dancing with students from many other Diocesan Schools on Thursday.

P T & F Meeting 

Our meeting returns to the school campus this term at 6.00pm this Wednesday in Mrs Bartholomew’s classroom.  All parents/carers are most welcome to attend.
