Library News
The year 12 students have been busy studying in the library in readiness for their exams. Our staff of Gangou , Margaret and Leigh Ann at the Terry Feely Library made a stunning farewell display for the Year 12s with the words ‘Let your Light Shine’ surrounded by lanterns while Jane, Vicki and Kiran at the Clyde North Discovery Centre created a colourful display depicting the students as birds leaving from their nest with the words ‘Fly High Dream Big’.
We hope the VCE students have had time to think back over the past 6 years about what they were reading when they first started secondary school. During year 7 they may have read ‘Matilda’ by Roald Dahl or ‘Sister Heart’ by Sally Morgan and now in Year 12 be reading 'We Have Always Lived in the Castle’ by Shirley Jackson or ‘Contemporary Indigenous Plays’ It is hoped that our year 12 students have developed a love of literature which they can take into the future.
