World Teacher's Day
As I write to you on World Teacher's Day, I want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible work our teachers do every day. Teaching is not just a profession; it is a vocation filled with passion, dedication, and a commitment to shaping the future of our students.
We had a fantastic celebration today with the P&C and so many other volunteers providing a lovely lunch for our staff to enjoy. On behalf of the teachers, thank you for all the time and effort you put into making the day so memorable. We love teaching at Chatswood.
P&C Meeting
It was a pleasure to join my first Chatswood P&C meeting on Tuesday evening. It was a wonderful team of very committed parents. If you haven't engaged with the P&C before, I strongly encourage you to get involved. It is a brilliant way to get to know other parents and help enhance our already strong community.
One of my key messages to the group was to please engage with the school. If you have a question, please ask it because it is through working in partnership that we are able to achieve the best outcomes for our students.
Tell Them From Me Survey
The details of this survey was in last weeks' newsletter and you may have come across some of our school leaders politely asking you to complete the survey as you enter the school gates of an afternoon. I strongly encourage and value your input and this is one mechanism where I can get feedback from the community. I would appreciate if you can spare me 10 minutes to complete the survey. We currently have 63 respondents which is much better than the 10 we had last year but I would like even more. Thank you for your help.

Kindergarten Orientation 2025
The Kindergarten Orientation for 2025 will be held on 6 and 13 November.
If you live in our catchment area, have a child born between 1 January 2019 - 31 July 2020, are yet to enrol at our school for Kindergarten next year and would like to attend our Orientation Program, please register your interest here
2025 Enrolments
Applications are now being accepted for Kindergarten 2025. If your child turns 5 before July 31, 2025 they are eligible to start school next year. We would appreciate local area enrolments submitting their applications as soon as possible.
We offer our support and encourage you to complete your application to enrol online. If, however you do not feel comfortable completing an application online, a paper copy will be available for collection from the front office or you can download from the Department's website.

School Tours
School Tours provide families with an opportunity to see the school in action and hear about the wide range of opportunities available to our students.
