Foundation 2025

We are excited to share that our first transition session for next year’s Foundation students was a great success! The students were warmly welcomed and engaged in a range of fun activities, helping them get familiar with their new school environment. It was wonderful to see their excitement and eagerness to begin their school journey. They had the opportunity to meet many of our staff including Ms. Lisa, Ms. Kim, Mrs. Rogers and Mrs. Portelli who will be taking these sessions each week.

Many parents also stayed for this session. Parents were taken on a guided tour of the school, and we also provided valuable information about Before and After School Care with our new provider for next year, Kelly Club.

Additionally, we shared information about Academy uniforms, how to help your child be ‘school ready’ and the different apps we use for communication including Compass and Seesaw. Each child also received a book with a social story about our school so parents and students can share during the rest of the year.

A big thank you to all the parents who attended! Your involvement is key to making the transition smooth for your children, and we appreciate your ongoing support.

Children will continue to attend each Wednesday at the same time. Please reach out if you need assistance or if you have any questions.

Facilities

I am thrilled to share some exciting updates at our school’s facilities project.

First, we have installed brand-new bike racks to encourage eco-friendly transportation and provide a safe space for students to store their bikes. We hope this addition will inspire more of our students to ride to school, promoting health and sustainability.

Additionally, our new playgrounds are officially open, and the children are absolutely loving them! The new equipment has quickly become a favourite, with lots of laughter and energy filling the air during recess.

Thank you for your continued support as we enhance our school environment for the students' enjoyment and well-being.

Maths Competition

Congratulations to Aamir for achieving outstanding results as the Best in School. As per the compass notification, due to the anticipated rain for tomorrow, we will present all the certificates next Friday at assembly. Please read Mrs. Portelli's part of the newsletter in the DPW Information section for all the names of the students who participated. Parents are welcome to attend assembly.
