Mathematics in Prep

In Mathematics, our Prep students have been learning all about data and how we can collect, record, and interpret information. After a series of explicit lessons on what data is and how it can be gathered, students practised collecting information and recording their findings in graphs.

To put their learning into action, the Preps conducted a survey to find out everyone’s favourite fruit. Once all the data was collected, students created a colourful graph to represent their results. Using their graph, they answered the questions “How many people did you survey?", "Which fruit was the most popular?" and "Which fruit was the least popular?"
