Out and About at LPS...
It is so wonderful to wander around the yard and see so many smiling faces, imaginative play, shared conversations, games and our school values on display. It's becoming quite a routine, "Is it ok if I take your photo?"📷 "Will we be in the newsletter?!" 😁
World Mental Health Day
In case you missed it, the 10th of October was World Mental Health Day but that's ok! You can take the theme and apply it on any day 😊
The objective of World Mental Health Day is to raise awareness of mental health issues around the world and to mobilise efforts in support of mental health.
World Mental Health Day provides an opportunity for community members and people working in mental health to talk about the importance of mental health, and what more needs to be done to make access to mental health care a reality for people worldwide.
This year, Mental Health Australia’s theme for World Mental Health Day is Connect with your community.
Connecting with our communities – the people and places where we feel safe, seen and heard – can help us feel cared for and supported, which is good for our mental health.
