A strong finish
As we approach the end of the school year, it is important to emphasise that there is no “winding down” period at Saints. Teaching and assessment continue right through to the final bell on Friday 28 November, and our expectations around application, behaviour, uniform, grooming and assessment remain firm.
A key part of building resilience is seeing commitments through to the end – a value we proudly promote in our students. We ask parents and caregivers to reinforce this message as we wrap up another productive and rewarding year.
Student Diary
The Student Diary remains an essential tool for developing strong organisational habits and planning skills. We encourage parents and caregivers to support their sons in using the diary effectively by checking and signing it each week.
Students should record each subject for every lesson and are encouraged to plan ahead each weekend for the week that follows. Identifying practical subjects and noting required equipment will help ensure students arrive prepared and ready to learn.
Homework
Homework and revision play a vital role in reinforcing classroom learning. We appreciate your continued support in ensuring your sons complete their homework to a high standard each evening.
Homework tasks are intentionally designed to consolidate class content, build skills, prepare students for future lessons and support assessment readiness. Homework may include reviewing notes, working on assignments, revising key concepts or reading.
At Saints, there is always something students can do to progress their learning – whether reviewing, planning or working on longer-term assessment tasks – and we encourage them to develop consistent study habits that set them up for success.
