Level 4 History Box Incursion
On Tuesday 21st October, the Level 4 students participated in the History Box incursion.
This hands-on incursion allowed students to step back in time and explore the complex and significant events that shaped Australia between 1750 and 1800. Students examined the arrival of the First Fleet, the early years of colonisation, and the vastly different experiences and perspectives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and the new arrivals. Students were able to to develop a deeper understanding of the causes and consequences of early colonisation on people, culture, and the environment. By engaging in diverse viewpoints, students were encouraged to think critically about Australia's past and recognise its lasting impact on our national story.
