Today is a great day to be you!

As many of you will know - today is World Teachers Day!
We love all that our teachers do at all times across the year, but this is one special day where we really get to celebrate the incredible work they all do supporting the ~690 Rangeview students we have.
A huge shout out to the wonderful parents who organised and contributed to the morning tea as a 'thank you' to our Rangeview teachers.
If you see your child's teacher after school today - we encourage you to take the opportunity to say a big thank you and show that value of gratitude for the commitment our teachers make towards their students.

Last Sunday, our RAFT leaders - Simon and Byron - hosted a wonderful event for our Rangeview community. We would like to extend a big thank you to both Simon and Byron for their time running these events. It was a miserably wet day, but this worked really well for a fun indoor event!
We had about 80-90 people attend in total, with families competing in three builds - a 'movie-themed' free build, a speed build and a re-purpose build. We saw some incredibly creative builds and most importantly, the gym was full of smiles.
Well done to all who came along and we hope you enjoyed a few hours of family fun!

On Tuesday, we held our annual Oktoberfest Celebration Day. Things kicked off in style in the gym for a huge whole school assembly. We had performances from the Rock Band, Choirs and our Foundation students - and also some individual student performances.
All of the students looked amazing in their German outfits. Across the remainder of the day, students participated in 'multi-age' groups, taking part in three different German themed activities (including cooking pancakes!).
Thank you to the German team for their efforts in organising the day.
