A successful term
Raging Waters Year 7 & 8 Excursion
We are happy to share news of our recent adventure to Raging Waters theme park with our year 7 and 8 students. It was certainly an opportunity to reward our students and they wasted no time diving into the excitement. From the fun waterslides to the lazy beach, each experience offered a fun filled day for our students.
Thank you to our wonderful Year Advisers Mrs Shannon, Miss Kumar, Miss Zaidan, and Mr Banks. We are lucky to have you and appreciate your organisation and the caring approach you have for our students.
Schools Spectacular
Our city was transformed into a hub of creativity and energy when the School Spectacular hit Homebush last month!
We were proud to have students from our Support Unit, years 8, 9, 10 and 12 participate at the Qudos Bank Arena at Homebush.
Thank you to Miss Sentic, Mr Jacob, and Mrs Ford for preparing our students for such a wonderful and much anticipated array of talent and energy. What a wonderful initiative!
Colour Run. What a success!
Heartfelt congratulations are in order for our fearless House leadership coordinators Miss Hyde and Mr Peacock, along with our entire House Leadership team!
What a great initiative and cause. A special thank you to our teachers that were slimed and for those that wore a badge of honour for many weeks with their coloured hair!
Year 11 Rewards Day success at Luna Park
It was a source of immense pride to see 89 of our exceptional year 11 students including our enthusiastic Support Unit students, wholeheartedly embracing the fun and excitement of Luna Park earlier this term. Their collective enjoyment of this reward was truly heartening, and they managed to make their Year Adviser’s and Deputy proud through their positive engagement.
A special appreciation goes to to Mr Faga and Miss Li Donni for their outstanding support and meticulous organisation! It was a great day.
Year 7 Science Excursion
The year 7 excursion to Sea Life Sydney Aquarium and Wildlife Sydney Zoo was a great blend of fun and learning for our year 7 students. Our teachers witnessed their enthusiasm and curiosity as they had a great time exploring both venues.
Thank you to the organiser Mr Chandler, the Science team, and our Year 7 Advisers for supporting our students on the day. We are confident that the knowledge and experiences gained during this trip will increase their knowledge and appreciation of science.
Design and Technology and Construction at work
I would like to extend my appreciation to Lee Miller and his Design and Technology class for inviting me to witness their insightful presentations. The Design and technology assessment task challenged students to demonstrate Major Project Management through oral presentations. They had 5 minutes to clearly show the design work they had undertaken and explain what their project was about. What a wonderful showcase of talent!
Furthermore, I had the pleasure of observing the Construction VET students diligently at work this term. What a great showcase of teamwork! Thank you to Mr Tait for guiding our students in the completion of a very hands on and meaningful assessment task.
YARN, International, STARS excursion
A heartfelt thank you goes to Miss Rattos, Mr Nguyen, Mr Clough and Mrs Pham for rewarding our students with a fun filled excursion into the City this term.
Our students are indeed fortunate to have such dedicated teachers that go above and beyond to support them in every possible way.
Year 7 Swim School
Our year 7 students had the wonderful opportunity to engage in a 4-day Swim School program designed to accommodate a range of swimming abilities. This invaluable program significantly contributed to enhancing the swimming proficiency of all students involved. We appreciate the hard work of our dedicated PDHPE team.
