Fostering Cecil's voices

 

This year has been remarkable for our Community Engagement Team, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the entire Cecil Family for their significant contributions to our 2023 achievements.

 

Here's a snapshot of our successes:

  • Facebookwitnessed a staggering 145% surge in engagement, soaring from 61,190 views to an impressive 149,846, thanks in no small part to Ms Bastide, Ms Preston, and our incredible Nutbush Dancers.
  • OurInstagram page (@cecilhillshs) experienced an exceptional 210% increase in engagement, elevating our followers from 855 to 2,649.
  • Attendance to our online Parent/Carer Information Sessionshas increased by an average of 300%.
  • Our school newsletters are captivating over 1000 readers per issue.
  • The number of respondents to our Tell Them From Me Parent Survey increased by 47%.
  • We partnered with RIEP (Regional Industry Education Partnerships) to successfully deliver three podcasting and social media workshops to over 100 students with assistance from industry experts, Ms Stephanie Aceglav and Ms Rhonda Stone.
  • The Cecil Voice,our own student-led podcast, has successfully aired 10 episodes, each averaging 1000 views, with numerous more in production slated for release in the upcoming year.

I would like to personally thank Mrs Ford, Ms Cupac, Ms Zaidan, Mr Chen, Mr Dovnik, Ms Camilleri, Mr Leng, Ms Ishak, Ms Phan, Ms Kumar, Ms Sentic, Mr Bellavia, Mr Le, and Mrs Reid for their contributions to the Community Engagement Team this year. 

 

We would also like to thank the Senior Executive, particularly Ms Sahid, for all her support in ensuring that all our initiatives were successfully delivered.

 

As a team, we are excited to further build on these achievements in the coming year. Our aim is to further expand our programs, ensuring our community stays well-informed and our students are equipped with skills essential for their future endeavours.
