Stage 3

Farewell Year 6

As the sun begins to set on a wonderful school year, the Stage 3 teaching team would like to extend a big thank you and well done to all our students. Each person has made learning gains this year and should be proud of their efforts. Special mention to our graduating Year 6 students, who were farewelled at our end of year assembly last week. We hope the holidays brings some time to rejuventate and come together with your families.

LOOKING AHEAD - 2024

A couple of quick points of note for the new school year.

  • Stage 3 will be heading to Canberra midway through Term 3 (26-30th August). This 5-day excursion will come at a considerable cost. We will be conducting some fundraising activities through Term 1 and 2 to bring costs down but anticipate the per head price to be around $690. Hopefully providing some additional time to plan for this expense will allow families to be able to find the means to send their children on this excellent excursion which is closely linked to our civics program.
  • Enclosed with reports this week, will be a list of student supplies required for the new year. Please refer to this when preparing for the new school year.

LOOKING BACK - 2023

It has been an enriching and busy time of learning in the last few weeks of this year.

Below is a collection of photos showcasing our Oracy sessions in which students learn through meaningful discussion with each other, some creative arts through dance and students investigating mathematics in the real world!
