A message from Stage 1
The end of another school year is upon us, all too soon! The education of your children is a team effort and the Stage 1 teachers would like to thank you for your support and communication this year. We always get a little sad when the year comes to an end, but feel enormous pride in the achievements of your children because we know just how hard they have worked and how determined they have been to achieve their learning goals.
This year we have wiped away tears (theirs, not ours), laughed a lot, sang a LOT, helped put out friendship fires, sharpened a trillion lead pencils, listened to jokes, opened lunchbox containers, put the lids back on those same lunchbox containers, helped find lost treasures, tied more shoelaces than we can count, returned lost lunchbox containers, tied lots of ribbons, stuck a zillion bandaids on scrapes and scratches, asked "Did you wash your hands?" at least ten times a day, were greeted by dazzling and eager smiles each morning and received our fair share of bear hugs from the small people who have brightened our day, every day. What a privilege to have been part of your children's educational journey!
We wish you a safe and enjoyable holiday and look forward to seeing how much the Sugar Gliders, Bilbies, Magpies, Cockatoos, Lorikeets and Frillies have grown over the holidays when we see the students back at school in 2024.

Stage 1 teachers
I would like to take this opportunity to recognise the hard work and dedication of the Stage 1 teachers who go above and beyond every day for your children. Their professionalism, knowledge, passion and commitment to planning differentiated and engaging activities is evident when I get the opportunity to visit classrooms. I have thoroughly enjoyed the last four years as Stage 1 Acting Assistant Principal, but for now, have decided to take a step back and focus on classroom teaching.
Have a wonderful Christmas break.
