VIC All Schools Athletics Championships

Congratulations to Asher in Year 10 who continues to shine on the athletics big stage!!

Asher had a busy 2 weekends recently at the Vic All Schools Athletics Championships representing PVCC in 4 events.

 Highlights of Weekend 1 were:

100m - A personal best time of 11.10 in the 100m heat, and a surprise Bronze medal in the final!

Discus - 6th and final discus throw took Gold!

Highlights of Weekend 2 were:

Long Jump – sitting in second for the first 4 rounds, Asher’s 5th jump put him in the Gold medal position and his 6th jump bettered it with a new personal best of 6.80 to secure Gold.

Javelin – Silver medal!

Asher will now compete at the Vic Decathlon in early January.

Year 8/9 Boys Netball Premiers

Congratulations to the year 8/9 boys netball team on winning their grand final 36-6 over arch-rivals Billanook. The boys played so well, showcasing their skills and teamwork. Well done to Lachy S for his MVP performance.

This team also won in 2022 so are back-to-back premiers !!

Year 8/9 Girls Hockey

What a pleasure these ladies were to coach! The GF was a very even game and our girls acquitted themselves so well to cap off a stellar season. The final score was 1-0. Unfortunately, we couldn’t snag the win against Tintern but the girls have come a long way in a short time and should be extremely proud of their efforts in hot conditions last Thursday. 💪💪👏👏
