Welcome to

Friends' Early Learning

Nestled within the Argyle Street Campus, Friends’ Early Learning is an Early Childhood Education and Care Centre that is guided by the Purpose and Concerns Statement of The Friends’ School. We provide Early Learning for children from three months to 4 years old, a 3-4 year old kindergarten program, Outside School/Kindergarten Hours Care and Vacation Care.

Our Service has recently been rated as Exceeding National Quality Standard across all seven Quality Areas of the National Quality Standard for Early Childhood Education and Care. Our curriculum is guided by the principles, practices and learning outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework, the My Time, Our Place Framework for School Age Care and the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) for 3-4 year old Kindergarten, all of which are inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach to children's education.

We strive to provide a caring, safe and secure environment where our educators respond to the thinking, interests, needs, strengths and abilities of each child to create meaningful and stimulating learning experiences.
