The String Group rehearses on Tuesday morning before school with our local 'String Specialist' Trent Bunston. Trent runs a number of String Groups in schools around our area and organises performances both inside and outside of school. Going Batty
Last Thursday saw our Pop-Up Bat exhibit appearing on the playground, It was the work of grade 5 and 6 students in response to Fruit Bats by the First Nations’ Artist, Lin Onus. The project deepened the student’s understanding of identity and belonging and allowed them to draw upon a variety of art skills to create a Fruit Bat as part of a collaborative artwork.
