Book Week festivities
Book week started off with a bang! The students had a fantastic time celebrating their favourite books and characters. We completed many activities to do with the award winning books, shared stories and learnt about different authors. Here are some fun photos of our dress up day.
Celebration of our Australia Saint - Mary MacKillop
On Tuesday the 8th of August, we celebrated the feast day of Mary MacKillop. We learnt about Mary MacKillop's life and all the amazing things she did to help children and families who were in need. The students then completed a craft activity to celebrate our Australia Saint.
Subtraction Fun!
Over the last three weeks, the students have been learning about the topic of subtraction in maths. Students have explored how to use subtraction using counters, number lines, tens frames and by drawing pictures. Here are some of the fun math games and activities we have completed throughout our unit.
