Book Week

Our Book Week activities bring so much excitement for our students. The Parade held on Monday was brilliant with our students participating so enthusiastically!  So many wonderful costumes and characters.

Book Week gives an opportunity to continue to read and enjoy our favourite books along with the Short listed Books as part of the Children Book Council Awards. Across the week, the students will be  immersed in many other enjoyable activities including competitions that promote a love of reading. Take a look at the gallery of photos on our Book Week page in this edition of our newsletter!

Swimming Program Years 1-6

Thank you for your support of our Swimming Program at Haileybury College Keysborough.

This was the first time we  have used this venue. We have been asked about the timing of the Swimming Program. It is terrific that our program is intensive across two weeks, rather than spread out across many weeks. This assists us with our learning programs.

Whilst we tried to secure a booking in the Summer months for our Year 1-6 students we were unable to do due to our large numbers. Additionally all swimming venues are booked well ahead. Smaller numbers  in Foundation allowed us to be able to secure our swimming program  for this year level in November.

If you have any feedback about the  swimming program please direct this to Sophie Sullivan our PE teacher. We value your feedback.  sullivan@sjvmulgrave.catholic.edu.au

Our Foundation students will participate in the Swimming Program in November!

School Advisory Council

The School Advisory Council met last evening.

We discussed the 2024 School Fees and Charges. These were ratified. In 2024 there will be a very small increase in the Family Recurrent and Capital Fee  fee.  $40 in total.  A 2% increase. The Year Levy charges will increase by $10.   Liz Szabo our bursar will send out the Fees and Charges document with each family later in the year.

We also  looked at our planning processes including reviewing our school Timetable in the light of  our school needs and the Multi Enterprise Agreement. We will keep you updated.

If you wish to provide feedback about any matter or have an issue please contact  council@sjvmulgrave.catholic.edu.au
