NESA SCHOOL-BASED ACCREDITED PD 

Thank you to the schools who have accredited School-Based Professional Development courses. Please contact Amanda Scott if any schools would like assistance with accrediting PD. 

 

Please find the link to theCSO Professional Development website where the relevant forms are kept. The Google form that needs to be completed is: School Based NESA Accredited Form). Please remember that the form needs to be completed 2-4 weeks prior to the date of the course. This is so the submission can be reviewed and approved as well as allowing time for NESA admin. 

Changes to Logging Elective PD

Please check your school emails regarding the changes to elective PD. Please contact Amanda Scott or Amelia Woolaston (Monday - Wednesday) if you have any questions regarding the changes to elective PD.

Conditional Teacher Zooms

The ECT Team will be facilitating conditional teacher ZOOMs throughout Term 3. This is for teachers across our diocese who are currently teaching while still studying. Current prac students may also attend. These ZOOMs will be an optional ‘well-being’ check in along with allowing you to network with other conditional teachers across the diocese. These ZOOMs will be happening;

Term 4 ECT Professional Development Day

The Mission and Learning Team are facilitating a Professional Development Day on Wednesday 25th October 2023 in Tamworth for all  Early Career Teachers in Term 4. 

This day will focus on the System's Non-negotiables and target areas specifically to the needs of our ECTs. The day's structure will involve whole group presentations as well as several small group workshops that will rotate each session.

Proficient Teacher Orientation Course

NESA has mandated that any Early Career Teacher whose initial accreditation date is after 29th November 2022 needs to complete the Proficient Teacher Orientation Course. This can be found on the NESA Online Learning Hub. All you need to do is log in using your NESA number and complete the course.
