Principal's Update
Hi everyone,
Can you believe the end of Term 3 is only 3 weeks away? These last few weeks will go fast with lots of things happening at school. We have our annual Father's Day Stall, Father's Day Breakfast, Athletics Day, Community Reading Day, School Production, R U OK Day?, Colour Fun Run plus all our regular learning happening.
We have noticed as we head towards the end of term that students have been coming to school very tired. It is extremely important that students are getting a good night's sleep so that they are ready for learning each day. Research has shown that students who get the proper amount of sleep each night have improved focus and concentration which leads to improved academic performance.
Each day at school our students have a fruit break at 10am. We would like to thank Legacy Packing for the donation of delicious oranges and sumos each week for our students. They are delicious and the students love them!
We hope everyone enjoys the rest of the Term! Term 4 will commence on Tuesday 3rd October as we have a Student Free Day on Monday 2nd October for staff professional development.
Have a great week!
