UPCOMING EVENTS

Small School Public Speaking

The Annual Small Schools Public Speaking Competition will be held on Wednesday  6

September 2023 commencing at 9am with a welcome under the COLA. Students have been asked to wear FULL WINTER UNIFORM on the day.

This year students from Boggabri Public School, Mullaley Public School and Curlewis Public School will join us on the day. A copy of the timetable will be sent out with a Compass feed. We are unable to give an approximate time that your child will perform, just starting times of each year group. Your child has been working on their speech at school, however if parents could practice with their child a home that would be very helpful.

A morning tea stall with Georgie Carrigan's coffee van will be available and we ask if parents could please bake for this stall. A percentage of monies raised will go toward the Year 6 End of Year Gift. We will require parent helpers on the day for the following: help on morning tea stall; marking names of speakers on the door list once they have spoken. If you are able to help in any way, please contact Miss Morrissey or Ms Traynor in the office.

Life Education Van

All students will visit the Life Education Van next Thursday 7 September. Yr 3-6 will visit the van from 11:30am - 1pm and K-2 will visit from 1:45pm-2:45pm. I'm sure the children are looking forward to seeing Healthy Harold.
