Stage 1 and Stage 2 Choirs

Friday 25th August was the School Choral section at the Orange Eisteddfod. Year 1-4 children headed off down the driveway to take to the stage once more at the Orange Function Centre.

Year 1-2 Choir began with a rendition of the lullaby ‘Sea Shell’ showing their ability to sing in canon, this was followed by a very lively performance of ‘Gary Galah’ complete with fun actions and a very snazzy ending. They scored 85 points and earned 2nd place.

Stage 2 began their performance with a controlled performance of Hushabye Mountain, made famous in the 1960’s classic Chitty Chitty Bang Bang! This was contrasted with a very energetic performance of I Won’t Grow Up from Peter Pan. Overall, they scored 87 points and another 2nd place!

Both choirs performed their repertoire proficiently and represented KWS immaculately. Congratulations!
