Around the Grounds

Last weekend, I had the pleasure of coaching the KWS Lions Hockey team, and what an experience it was! I found myself on the field alongside these talented players, and I must admit they taught me a thing or two about the game. The skill level displayed by our Lions was nothing short of amazing, leading them to a well-deserved and comfortable victory. I'm eagerly looking forward to watching their continued development over the coming weeks as they strive to finish the season on a strong note.

A big congratulations is in order for our KWS Brumbies Hockey team, who showed incredible determination and skill by making it all the way to the quarter finals in their competition. While they didn't advance to the semis, this achievement is nothing short of remarkable. Making it this far is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and teamwork. Well done, Brumbies!

To our KWS U11 Netball team, our best wishes and good luck as you step onto the court for the semi-finals this upcoming weekend. Your performance so far this season has been outstanding, and we have every confidence that you'll give your very best in the semi-finals. Keep up the great work and enjoy every moment of the game!

HICES Athletics

Excitement is in the air as we gear up to send 40 of our finest athletes to compete at the HICES Athletics event in Sydney this week. As I write this, our students are getting ready to take on the challenges of the Homebush Athletic Centre. Their enthusiasm is inspiring, and we're confident that they will represent Kinross Wolaroi with pride and give it their all.

Exploring Movement and Dance in PE

In our PE lessons, we're always striving to offer dynamic and engaging activities. Currently, we've transitioned from Traditional Indigenous games to a captivating unit on Movement Exploration and Dance. Our students are thoroughly enjoying manipulating and modifying elements of space, time, objects, effort, and even people to create captivating movement sequences. To give you a glimpse of their dance journey, we've included some lively photos of our students fully engaged in the world of dance.
