Performing Arts

In Music, we have been using the chime bars to create beautiful music and learning how to compose simple two-note songs. The students have loved developing their skills in this area and have really enjoyed the opportunity to experiment, create and build their confidence as young musicians.

Junior Visual Arts

Our Junior Visual Arts students have been embracing the magic of winter through a range of creative and imaginative artworks this term.

Our Prep students have been exploring the art elements of size and proportion while creating a series of delightful snowman artworks, through drawing, painting and modelling.

Meanwhile, our Grade 1 and 2 students travelled to Antarctica through the pages of Sophie Scott Goes South by Alison Lester. Inspired by the beautiful story and illustrations, students have created a series of artworks featuring icy landscapes, ships, penguins, and other Antarctic wildlife. 

Their unique artworks showcase both their growing artistic skills and their wonderful creativity. We are incredibly proud of the creativity, enthusiasm and effort our junior artists have shown.
