Grade 5/6 Sovereign Hill Camp

Last week, our Grade 5/6 students enjoyed a fantastic camp at Sovereign Hill, stepping back in time to experience life during the gold rush. From panning for gold and exploring the underground mines to taking part in interactive tours and discovering Ballarat's rich history, students embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm, curiosity and excellent behaviour. It was a wonderful few days of learning, adventure and fun, and we are incredibly proud of the way our students represented Anglesea Primary School throughout the camp.

Grade 2 Sleepover Excitement!

The excitement is certainly building as our Grade 2 students count down to their upcoming school sleepover! This special experience is a fantastic opportunity for students to build independence, strengthen friendships and create lasting memories in a fun and familiar environment.  From campfires to nightwalks and YMCA outdoor adventures, there's sure to be  plenty of laughter and a few weary Gr2s on the Friday

Grade 3–6 Swimming Program

Our much-anticipated Grade 3–6 Swimming Program begins next week! We can't wait to see our students developing their confidence, water safety skills and swimming techniques throughout the week.

A reminder to all families that students should bring their swimming gear to school each day, including bathers, a towel, goggles (if required), a swimming cap (if required), underwear, and a plastic bag for wet items. Thank you to our wonderful community whose support through the Village Fair has made this fantastic program possible for our students.

Have You Seen Our New Lost Property Box?

Have you spotted our new Lost Property Box in the front foyer? If your child has misplaced a jumper, jacket, hat or any other item of clothing, please take a moment to stop by and have a look. We encourage families to regularly check the box, as there are already a number of items waiting to be reunited with their owners. Naming clothing also makes it much easier for us to return lost items to students.

100 Days of School! 

Last Friday we celebrated a very special milestone as our Prep students reached 100 Days of School! The day was filled with fun, laughter and plenty of creative activities, with many students dressing up in a varities of different ways to celebrate this momumentous day. It was wonderful to celebrate how much our Prep students have grown in confidence, friendships and learning over their first 100 days at school. Congratulations to our amazing Prep students on this fantastic achievement!
