Welcome to the last Newsletter of 2024

What are year! It has come and gone in the blink of an eye. I want to take the opportunity to thank all students and families for what they have achieved this year and for working tirelessly with our staff to grow. I also want to take this opportunity to thank the staff for their tireless efforts in giving the students every opportunity to succeed.

School Holidays

Horsham College staff will take a much needed break. The school will be closed from COB Wednesday 18th of December until January 27th. If you need anything in this time you may reach out to your sub school Assistant Principal, however they will only be checking emails periodically.

Student timetables

Students will now have received their timetable for 2025. We have done our best to ensure that your student gets as many subjects of their choosing as possible, however at times may miss out on the first go and therefore some extensive work needs to be done. If this is the case can you please contact your students YLC so we can aim to fix this up for an enjoyable 2025.

Uniform

As the year winds down and temperature rises up, please start to look at next year's summer uniform as well as finding or buying another school hat. The new P.E. shirts are now in stock at Lowe’s. This sports polo is an expectation that students have to change into at the beginning of Physical Education.

Staffing

To those staff that are leaving Horsham College for other opportunities, travel and other reasons we would like to take the opportunity to say thank you for your work this year and we wish you all the best in your endeavours.

As we move into the Christmas break, we ask that you look after yourself, your children and reach out for any support you need. Horsham has a range of services to assist you through many situations when schools are closed, and that support is unavailable.
