Junior Sports Extravaganza!
Congratulations to our P-2 students for their effort, sportsmanship, and kindness on Fridays Junior Sports Day. A big thank you to our parents who helped throughout the day, and the parents and families who came to join in the fun. It was great to see so many families support the event and make it special for the students.
A final thankyou to our House Captains who tackled the heat throughout the whole day to organise and support their younger peers so they could make it a day to remember. You all showed exceptional leadership and enthusiasm.

Maths Extension Afternoon
On Tuesday afternoon, our Year 3/4 Maths Extension students had the opportunity to coach a group of our high ability maths students from Year 2. Over the course of the afternoon, the students from Year 3/4 taught our younger students two of the games they learnt at the recent High Ability Maths Day. These games have a large mathematical component and are able to be adapted to make them more or less challenging.
Although we know our students are capable, it was still a bit of a surprise to see that some of them had extended the challenge to include negative numbers and rational numbers. The Year 2’s weren’t at all phased!
Congratulations to all students who took part in this mathematical afternoon. To our Year 3/4's: your patient coaching and willingness to adapt the task at hand made it both enjoyable and worthwhile for our younger students. Thank you for not being afraid to make it challenging and in turn for allowing the Year 2’s to challenge you. A great coach always wants their understudies to surpass them.
To our Year Two learners: you amazed us all with your determination and perseverance. These photos tell the story of your joy and your effort: you brought huge measures of both to this afternoon.
We look forward to providing further stimulating learning opportunities for our students in the future.
