Lunch Orders 2025

Thank you for your continued support during 2024, we look forward to working with you again during 2025.

 

Service will begin on Monday 3rd of February 2025. 

 

We will also need information on any allergies (we are a nut free kitchen and are careful with cross contamination). As always parents are welcome to contact us  with any questions they may have.

Year 4, 5 & 6 Camps - 2025

Students in Year 4-6 in 2025 will be heading off on camp early in the new year. 

Payments for camp are now live for families to process on Compass Course Confirmation/Payments and consent is also required in Compass Events. 

 

Families are asked to please read the information below thoroughly to ensure all the correct steps have been followed, particularly if you are choosing to use your School Saving Bonus towards camp. 

 

Important Information - School Saving Bonus towards Camp

Families wishing to use their School Saving Bonus for camp need to read the following information carefully and take the following steps. 

 

Step 1. Ensure you have logged on and allocated your money towards "School Activities" in the School Saving Bonus portal. https://www.schoolsavingbonus.vic.gov.au/s/ 

 

Step 2. Payment for camp must be completed in Compass Course Confirmation/Payments  - please read all instructions & answer the included questions.

 

Step 3. When you get to the payment section, you amend the amount to reflect the remaining amount you are to pay after deducting the SSB amount you wish to use towards camp.

  • example #1 -  you have allocated $400 to 'school activities' in the SSB portal and you wish to use $400 towards camp, therefore you need to change the payment amount in this step to $0.00 (Yr 5/6 families) and to $75.00 (Yr 4 families)
  • example #2 - you have allocated $400 to 'school activities' in the SSB portal and you wish to use $200 towards camp, therefore you need to change the payment amount in this step to $200.00 (Yr 5/6 families) or $275 (Yr 4 families)
  • example #3 - you do not wish to allocate any SSB towards camp, therefore you leave the prepopulated amount of $400.00 (Yr 5/6 families) or $475.00  (Yr 4 families) and continue to the next step. 

Step 4. Continue on with the payments steps as prompted. 

Step 5. Complete the camp consent in Compass Events.

 

* PLEASE NOTE * - the school will be cross-checking these payments with the reports we receive from the SSB portal. If SSB funds have not been allocated in the portal, and families have amended the amount to pay on compass, families will be required to finalise any differing balances before their child can attend camp. The school will contact families should this be necessary. 

 

All remaining payments can then be made in full or by instalments by selecting 'Pay by Instalments' when reaching the payment section. If you have chosen to pay by instalments, each instalment will be automatically deducted from your nominated card on the dates listed in Course Confirmation/Payments. Please ensure you have sufficient funds to cover these deductions on these dates.

 

All payment enquiries, or any families experiencing financial difficulties are welcome to contact the office on (03) 9391 8942 or newport.lakes.ps@education.vic.gov.au to discuss alternative arrangements. 

 

 

Student Charges for 2025

Student charges for 2025 will be made live on Compass Course Confirmation/Payments early in the new year. Families will receive a compass notification when this has been actioned. 

 

All payments must be initiated by January 30th 2025. They can be paid in full or families may choose to pay in two instalments;

  • Instalment #1 -  Thursday 30th January 2025
  • Instalment #2 - Wednesday 30th April 2025.
