Student Learning Culture and Growth

As we enter the season of Advent and reflect on the conclusion of another academic year, we take great pride in celebrating our students' achievements during the recent Marist Sion College Evening of Excellence. This special event recognised the substantial contributions our students have made to the Marist Sion College community.

Throughout the year, our students have demonstrated qualities that support their aspirations, reflecting genuine pride in their learning and significant personal growth. The Evening of Excellence highlights outstanding performances across various aspects of college life, including House activities, Wellbeing, Vocational Learning, Sports, Performing Arts, and leadership in the Special Awards category. 

The list of Award recipients is attached below, and we commend their success across many facets of College life and the love of learning.

More recently, all parents and carers have received the Semester 2 Summative Reports, providing a valuable opportunity to review and celebrate each student's progress and achievements. The Summative Reports are available via the SIMON Everywhere app or through the Parent Access Module (PAM).

As the year comes to a close, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all staff members at Marist Sion for their unwavering dedication and support. May the upcoming holiday season be a time of rest, renewal, and joy, allowing us to reconnect with loved ones and appreciate the blessings in our lives.

To our students, I wish you success in your future endeavours and a Merry Christmas. May the holiday season bring peace, happiness, and fulfillment to everyone.
