Presentation Evening

On Thursday 12th December we had our annual Presentation Evening, an opportunity to to reflect on the year 2024 at Bairnsdale Secondary College.

 

During the evening students from all year levels were acknowledged for their contribution to the College throughout 2024.  

 

The evening was also an opportunity to celebrate our VM and VCE dux for 2024 and introduce our 2025 College Captains.

MUSIC AWARD PRESENTATIONS 

 

Cathie Hall Prize

The Cathie Hall Prize is sponsored by the Farren-Price family in memory of Cathie Hall, who was a music teacher at Bairnsdale Secondary College. It is awarded to a beginner level musician, who displays a strong aptitude for their instrument and dedication to success. 

Award Recipient: Aurora 

 

The Hay-Smith Instrumental Music Award 

This award has been created by the Hay-Smith family in appreciation of the opportunities given to family members by the Instrumental Music Program. This award is presented to a talented student, to assist in their continued participation in the Instrumental Music Program.

RAACOM Music Award 

This award is sponsored by Karl and Trish Henderson and is presented to a student who has displayed musical excellence through performance and has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to the Instrumental Music Program.

Bairnsdale Secondary College Music Award 

This award goes to a senior music student who has displayed an outstanding commitment to the Instrumental Music Program throughout their secondary education. Award Recipient: Henry

This award goes to a senior music student who has demonstrated excellence in the Strings program.
