Principal's update

Hello everyone,

Here is the newsletter for week ten of term four - second last week of term!

Term one 2025 will start on Thursday 30 January for all students. Staff will be onsite from Tuesday 28 January

A reminder that this Thursday 12 December is a student free day - no students at school

This term finishes next Friday 20 December at 1.00pm.

2025 classes

Yesterday we held a step up day and final prep transition. Students went to their 2025 classes and met their new teachers. 2025 classes are:

P/1 Marcus

2/3 Emma

3/4 Lea and Charmaine

5/6 TBA - we currently have a teaching position advertised and hope to have this finalised very soon

Year P/1 Drama performance

Join us for a fun hour of drama games, activities, songs and entertaining short performances on Monday 16th December @ 9-10 in the drama room

Grade 6 graduation

Our grade 6 graduation will be held on Monday 16 December 11.30-12.30 at the Taradale Hall. All school families are invited to attend.

The grade 6 graduation dinner will follow on Monday 16 December from 5.30-8.30.

SAKG cook Chris will prepare the meal, but we would love to have parent helpers to assist with preparing and serving the meal as we have done in previous years - please let us know if you can help out.

Open classrooms

We invite all school families to visit our classrooms for an open morning on Monday 16 December 9.30-10.30 as our students showcase some of the great work they have achieved this semester. This will be followed by the year 6 graduation at 11.30 at the Hall
