One Talk at a Time

The National Office for Child Safety recently launched ‘One Talk at a Time’, a national awareness raising and behavioural change campaign on child sexual abuse.

One Talk at a Time aims to protect children and young people from sexual abuse by helping adults understand that child sexual abuse is preventable and encouraging them to have ongoing, proactive, preventative conversations with children, young people and other adults in their lives.

The campaign is a key measure under theNational Strategy to Prevent and Respond to Child Sexual Abuse 2021-2030 and fulfils a recommendation of the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse.

St. Vincent de Paul Christmas Hamper Appeal

The St. Vincent de Paul Christmas Hamper Appeal has begun!

We ask all students and families to donate non-perishable food items that can be put into a Christmas Hamper to help those families who are struggling. Some suggestions are non-perishable basic items such as noodles, cereals, biscuits, muesli bars, tea, coffee, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, conditioner etc. In addition to these items, they are hoping for some items to help people in need celebrate Christmas, such as chocolates, lollies, soft drink, christmas puddings etc.  Please help us share the Christmas spirit of giving to those in need. Every item counts. Donations can be made to the class teachers or at either School Office. Thank you!

It is also an expectation and shows great respect for our school that the students are wearing the correct full summer uniform. We ask for parent support in reminding your child to wear the correct uniform every day.
