Upcoming Learning:

During the next fortnight, students will be undertaking learning in the following areas:

 

Reading: To understand the features and structures of procedures.

Writing: To write a procedure.

Math: To understand rotation, translation and reflection of shapes.

Social Emotional Learning: To understand what stereotypes are and their impact on individuals and communities. 

Humanities/Inquiry: To identify the cycle of water supply.

Spelling: To identify the correct spelling of words that end in 'y'. 

News and Reminders:

Homework- Reminders about the spelling and times table homework that will be continuing this term. We are also encouraging students to read. Students will have a week to complete their homework.

Assessment- We are currently undergoing assessment during class time in preparation for reports this term. 

Wellbeing- It is incredibly important that students are attending school as much as possible and coming to school with enough sleep, in order to learn throughout the day.

Sun Smart- Students must all have their hats for Term 4. Also, a big reminder for students to bring their water bottle especially heading into the warmer months. 

Sustainability focus- Humanities is focusing on sustainable living and your child may come home with some suggestions to try at home.
